Boy Crawls into Stranger’s Arms at Football Game— His Aunt Hunts Her Down With Powerful Facebook Post

Strangers, regardless of nationality, politics, or religion, using their own arms to be Jesus’ hands to those around them is incredible.

Mrs. Angela is another of those thoughtful strangers.

Isaiah’s aunt assumed it was over until she was approached by a little boy named Isaiah at a football game for a 20-minute conversation. But she wasn’t prepared for the emotional reunion that came two weeks later when her nephew ran into his newfound friend.

“I expected their interaction would be the same as last time,” Star Balloon-Bradley wrote, “but I was incorrect.” ” As he walked up to her, Isaiah grinned as he sat on her lap and placed his head on her shoulder. She welcomed him with open arms. This lady massaged and rocked Isaiah to sleep as if he had been born. It was really adorable!!”

Star Balloon-Bradley was so impressed by a stranger’s selfless act that she couldn’t help but share her story on Facebook in the hopes of tracking down the woman who had treated Isaiah so sweetly. The post has been shared over 314,000 times since then.

Mrs. Angela was thankfully located, and her Christ-like response to the attention is even more wonderful.

Here’s the link to the complete Facebook post:

“I’m not sure who this lady is, but if you know who she is, please tell her she’s incredible.” Isaiah addressed this lady at our last home game two weeks ago. He down next her and began speaking with her as if they had known each other for years. It only lasted approximately 20 minutes. She, on the other hand, left immediately following halftime to pick up her young daughter.

Let’s jump ahead to tonight… Not long after we sat down at the game, Isaiah noticed her. After she waved, he made his way up to her. I expected their interaction would be the same as it had been before, but I was wrong. As he walked up to her, Isaiah grinned as he climbed into her lap and placed his head on her shoulder. She welcomed him with open arms. This lady massaged and rocked Isaiah to sleep as if he had been born. It was very adorable!!

We asked if she wanted us to come get him, but she said she (and he) were OK!! Isaiah has never met this person save for those 20 minutes during a game two weeks ago. I apologized to her tonight and said that I’m not sure why he bothers her so much. She responded that he was not a nuisance and that she would not say anything like that in the future. She said that he was her new friend. She went on to say that she only has one 15-year-old child and that such moments are priceless!! With all of the present racial tensions, photographs like this make me happy because they demonstrate that color doesn’t matter to many people. That is absolutely not the case!! Arguing about insignificant issues causes us to lose sight of the simple pleasures of life. I apologize for not remembering her name, but I’ll keep it in mind for the next game since I’m confident Isaiah will discover her. I adore her despite the fact that I have never met her!

We’ve finally figured out who she is. Mrs. Angela is her formal title. She’s such a sweetheart, you guys! God’s ability to bring people together for diverse causes is amazing!!

When she found out that I had shared this photo with her, she said:

‘To God be the glory, honor, and applause! I was struck with emotion today as I read Star Balloon-message. Bradley’s The kind words that have been said about me have humbled me. Isaiah is a darling to the core! I pray that others will see Jesus in all of this and see the magnitude of His love, since that is how I want to love and live my life. I don’t deserve it, but He does!’ -Angela.

2nd Update: Thank you for your kind words! I’m ecstatic that this shot has provided so much happiness to so many people. I’d also like to mention that I’m his aunt, and Thameka S. Miller is his mother’s name. Once again, thank you! “May the goodwill grow even more!”
